3 Dead in Fire at Gujarat Textile Dyeing Mill

At least three people were killed in a massive fire that broke out at the Zhejiang Guxiandao Polyester Dope Dyed Yarn Co., Ltd. located near Gujarat’s Bardoli town early this morning, an official said.

The mill is owned by the China-based company which was founded in 2003 and has a registered capital of 634 million Yuan (approximately $90 million). It specializes in dyeing-and-printing fabrics for various uses including apparel manufacturing and home textiles.

According to local reports, the blaze started around 4am when workers were still on site preparing for their shift. Bystanders reported seeing thick black smoke billowing from the building as firefighters rushed to contain it. The cause of the fire is not yet known but authorities are currently investigating all possible causes including electrical wiring issues or combustible materials that may have been ignited inside one of the machines used at the mill.

Local police and emergency services responded quickly to evacuate any remaining personnel from danger and extinguish what remained of the flames before they could spread further into nearby neighborhoods or neighboring townships. Tragically, three people lost their lives during this incident while others managed to escape with minor injuries only after being pulled away by rescuers who arrived on scene shortly thereafter. Those affected are now receiving medical treatment along with psychological support provided by local health officials as well as volunteers providing counseling through community organizations such as Citizen’s Relief organization based out of Vadodara city centre which works closely with those affected by industrial disasters throughout India’s western state of Gujarat..

Investigations into what caused this incident are ongoing but initial findings suggest human negligence may be responsible due to lax safety procedures followed within these types of mills across India where flammable substances can easily catch flame if proper precautions aren’t taken against them prior to operations commencing each day . With increasingly strict labor regulations coming into effect over recent years its hoped that these tragic incidents will become more infrequent going forward so families won’t have endure similar losses like those experienced today at Zhejiang Guxiandao Polyester Dope Dyed Yarn Co., Ltd..
